Atheneum appoints David Adams as new Chief Technology Officer
LONDON, ENGLAND, 26th August 2019 – Atheneum, a leading global expert network and SaaS provider of B2B research and insights, announces the appointment of David Adams as Chief Technology Officer. Adams’ appointment will complement Atheneum’s technology-enabled Research-as-a-Service (RaaS) model to provide faster insights and better data to its clients.
Bringing over 30 years’ experience, he will play a key role in developing Atheneum’s Global Insights Platform, utilizing machine learning that will underpin the system to support the organisation’s plan to grow in excess of 50% year-on-year to 2025.
Adams was previously founder and Managing Director at DSC, a software development company with a diverse portfolio of clients, including J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Virgin Atlantic Airways. He also co-founded Chime Advisors, an expert network where he built a machine learning-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform, allowing it to compete in a highly competitive industry.
Atheneum will integrate its existing technology with Chime Adviser’s machine learning model to deliver the next-generation expert network. Utilising Atheneum’s global scale and infrastructure, the advancements will improve the speed and agility of the platform in delivering innovative solutions to clients.
The appointment of Adams follows the company’s recent funding round which saw Atheneum raise €10m (£8.9m) to support its ambitious growth plans, including investment to develop the platform’s technology.
